Sr. Mammography Technologist ($10k sign on bonus) Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary - USD $146,000 to $198,000 (Sr. Mammo Tech pays $70 to $87hr and Principal Mammo Tech pays $76 to $95 hr.) Bonus Eligible - Yes - Our licensed Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures.
- This technologist must be able to produce ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams.
- This technologist is able to interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care.
- Sr. Mammo Tech pays $70 to $87hr hr and Prin Mammo Tech pays $76 to $95 hr. Hours are M-F 8 hour shifts. Must cover other sites (San Mateo, CA, Berkeley, CA,) if needed.
- This technologist is able to evolve with radiology information system (RIS) and PACS systems.
- This technologist must participate in performance improvement activities in the department.
- Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance.
- Additionally, this Mammography Technologist must be willing to train and interact with students and new hires when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS: - Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations.
- Minimum of 3 years of Mammography experience for Sr level. More than 5 years of Mammography Exp for Prin. level
- ARRT Mammography Certification
- CRT Radiology License
- CRT Mammography License
- BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
- Requires proof of mammography - specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999.
- Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar)
- Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU's in the last 36-month period (rolling 36 month calendar) that must include at least 6 CEU's in each mammography modality used.
- Requires proof of MQSA approved 3D Tomosynthesis training
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATION: - Minimum of 3 or more years of Mammography experience
- ARRT Mammography Certification
- CRT Radiology License
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
- CRT Mammography License
- BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
- Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU's in Mammography in the last 36-month period
- Requires proof of MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training.
